When the flames are high and the night is alive, Wurk will take the stage to send Burning Troll off in a blaze of funk-fueled glory! Drawing from their Mount Horeb roots, this funk/fusion band will keep you moving with deep grooves and electrifying energy that won’t quit. Their original songs are refreshingly complex while maintaining infectious rhythms, slick lyrics, tight horn hits, and driving bass lines.

Cycropia Aerial Dance

Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Cycropia was formed in 1989 and is one of the oldest continuously-operating aerial dance troupes within the United States. Using single-point trapeze, bungee, lyra, aerial fabric and custom steel apparatus, Cycropia combines modern dance, athleticism and the magic of defying gravity.

The Urbanites

Get ready to move and be moved! Milwaukee-based reggae/soul band, The Urbanites is bringing their soulful reggae rhythms and uplifting energy to Donald Farm. With deep grooves, rich harmonies, and lyrics that inspire unity and resilience, their original music is a call to stand together, dance freely, and let go of what weighs us down. Join us as we raise our voices, lift our spirits, and let the music carry us into the flames of transformation!

The HandPhibians

The Handphibians are a vibrant group of Madison-based musicians dedicated to playing and promoting Brasilian-style percussion. The Handphibians play at festivals, march in parades, and enliven stage performances with high energy rhythms. The Handphibians were part of Burning Troll in 2023, providing a backbeat and lively procession to the burning of the troll, and they brought so much fun and energy, that we had to bring them back for 2024!

The blue olives

Regular artists at House of Blues- Chicago, The Blue Olives (based out of Madison, WI) have performed over 3500 shows nationally. Once described as "tight enough to be professional. yet loose enough to be really fun..." this band features a hornline, killer vocal harmonies, searing guitar and funky rhythm section. Known as one of the fiercest jam bands around, with the ability to hit the blues just right, they’ll set the tone for a night of release and unfiltered feeling.

THe nunnery

The Nunnery begins with one voice, layered upon itself becoming a lush soundscape. Sarah Elstran is an independent musician that bridges the gap between bright-eyed pop composition and hands-on atmospheric live layering of voice. Her vocal loops give us the kind of detail and wide multi-octave range that we might come to expect from a marquee pop star, while her production decisions continually keep us guessing as to what rabbit holes her tracks might fall into next.

The Prairie flowers

Kicking off Burning Troll with feel-good vibes and singalong energy, The Prairie Flowers brings a mix of classic and modern hits, plus a few surprises that will start the day out right! With rich vocal harmonies, this growing, Mount Horeb-based band will be bringing their new, full 6-piece version to Burning Troll.

The Dephlogisticators

Based out of Madison, the Dephlogisticators are an up and coming fire spinning group that perform and freestyle using a variety of fire, LED, and custom self made equipment, from poi to dragon staffs to levitation wands. Beyond performing, the Dephlogisticators emphasize education and safety as they are looking to grow the fire spinning community in Madison.
